A: Your ears will be examined to determine the consistency of your ear wax. If the wax is really soft and you have no contraindications, irrigation maybe the preferred method. If you have have dry, hard or impacted wax then microsuction can be the preferred option. Sometimes a combination of both can be required. You will always be advised which method would be best but if you have a preference for a certain method we will always offer this first.
